Will repellents get a squirrel out of the attic?

One of the newest crazes in Everglades City animal control is the use of repellants. You can find these concoctions just about any home store or pet shop. They have become so popular because people are looking for a fast and effective way to keep animals off of their property and away from their homes.

It is perfectly understandable that so many would opt for this considering that any solution that has science behind it seems to be the answer to most people’s problems. Let a lot of chemical compound names be added to a formula, most of which no one has the slightest idea what they are and a whole generation of people will buy it.

This has become the way that most Americans think these days, but one has to wonder if any of these formulas really work? Is Everglades City pest control just wasting money on a product that really has no chance for success?

The quick answer is that most repellants do not work to keep squirrels out of an attic. The reasons are really quite simple. First you have to consider that squirrels do not want to live in the entire attic. They just want a piece of it.
